My first major shock: My aunt, my mother's younger sister, apruptly because she was criticized due to the fact that her ice cream was scattered and inconsistent, as shown in the picture below. Five people left at once: her, her husband, their two children, and their daughter’s friend. Before leaving, they had a big argument with my mother. This meant we were short-staffed right before the busy Tet holiday season. This personnel issue exposed my lack of knowledge and naivety."
